Saugvignon Blanc is a green – skinned grape which originate from the Bordeaux region of France. The name comes from the French word sauvage (wild) and blanc (white. It is planted now in Okanagan in our Vineyards on the Golden Mile area producing a crisp a, dry, elegant and fresh wine. The flavour of the wine can range from aggressively grassy to sweetly tropical, depending on the characteristic of the terroir and climate.
Winemaker's Notes
The wine has aromas of passionfruit, grass and boxwood and pear notes with nice apple and hint of tropical and pepper notes. The wine finishes with a nice citrus zest and residual acid worthy of a Sauvignon Blanc.

Food Pairing
This lively and crisp white wine is perfect to enjoy on its own or with a meal. Seeafood, chicken dishes, sushi, light cheeses pair well with this wine or enjoy with appetizers.
Wine Making
Whole cluster press to minimize skin contact with the juice. The juice is then inoculated with a special yeast and fermented in close top stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks followed by cold stabilization for bottling.
